haha. yesterday went with yuling go watch nania.. nicee!! lion is so wizee.. aniwae, dun anyhow think k, only watch movie with yuling like, 3 days in a row? hahaha. cuz she got nothing to do and i on leave also got nothing to do then like that.. haha. anyway, after that, went over to vann's house to help her pack. can't believe it, she's moving house today! 10 days ago it seems only 10 days away.. LOLL joking. anyway, yes, most of the time we spent packing hangers cuz they were in a mess.. haha. had to untangle them, arrange them properly. pray that everything wil go smoothly and that vann and mum remain healthy. :D

block leavee...

hi. now's my block leave so i can really spend time out of camp doing the things which i love to do (:

haha ytd went out with vincent vann yu lingg... was funn :D i was hungry so eat first shop later heh. den went watch movie with lingz and went home :D

b4 that, i stayed in mac at bugis to study the bible. yes i know, study the bible? yepzz.. people were like staring at me, some with approving looks, some just gave me the weird expression. oh well, but at least there were less distractions there than at home. dunno why somehow at home i just keep wanna go toilet.

oh ya, got to know one of their choir friend too, val tay.. haha, she's quite cute and nice to talk to. really :D

today went down to the far far east to meet up with yuling and val chan. haha caught up and really talk. :D nice catching up with you vall..

haizz.. when yuling flys off to aust. , i'll miss her, cuz she's such a nice friend to me. really someone i can talk to and just go out with. oh well, got to live with it i guess (:

after that went down to the far far west. had dinner with vann huihui and ling, cuz they had choir. i went down to meet up with enyao to get a book, how to prepare bible messages. quite a good book, and i plan to chiong it by tmr. so tonite better sleep early heh, cuz tmr's gonna be a longgggggg day.. ok. now about some stuff..

really thankful for daddies (pural of daddy). indeed they are a reflection of God. though they may not be perfect like God is, but still each one of them reflects a character of God. my dad love to go out of the way to do things for me, his love language is acts of service. and i'm really thankful he's in my life, though he may not be perfect, but he reflects some parts of God's love (:

brief briefing

haha. this is what happened to me.

thursday start of CSB, s'pose to go 10km run but cancelled, cuz SAF-wide physical activity suspended.

in the end, the entire CSB cancelled because of it. no need go 32km route march, no need go for lower mandai navex. its good and bad. i was mentally prepared for it le, but oh well, means that i can relax a while (:

today, just did mantanence, cuz can't do any physical activity (see today's newspaper). wait for book-out. went watch incredible hulk. i guess he was called hulk cuz he's a human bulk.

anyway, i think mr blue is called mr blue cuz he will turn into the beast, x-men.

watched with a few people, was quite fun meeting shawn/shaun/sean? and mark and wendy. pei en and vann joined us for the movie as well, but didn't really get to talk to them.

1 way to know you're growing is you're serving others (: if u get what i mean, give rather than looking to receive. :D

i just found out. to withdraw money from MSA, must personally go to the brunch and withdraw, cannot do it online nor atm. which makes it good, cuz convience will make the account empty. get what i mean?

today. morning, woke up at 5:30am, wanted to go church to serve, but was very sick, down with a headache and block nose and coughing.. took medicine and sleep. afternoon, did up my personal budget and went crystal jade to eat with my sec sch guys.. :D then went beach road to buy stuff to prepare for CSB. tmr i'll pack my field packs for CSB *display packs :D came home, finally after a long time, having dinner with parents! i love my MUM so MUCH!!! :) ask those who met her and they'll say she's cute, sweet and awww... i'm not a mummy's boy, just love her. :D after that booking in to camp..

to vann: get well soon k? (: still have got to make card and get the gifts :D

Once there was a tree and she loved a little boy.
And every day the boy would come and he would gather her leaves and make them into crowns and play king of the forest.
He would climb up her trunk and swing from her branches and eat apples… And when he was tired he would sleep in her shade. And the boy loved the tree very much. And the tree was happy.
But time went by. And the boy grew older… The tree was often alone.
Then one day the boy came to the tree, and the tree said “Come Boy, come and climb up my trunk and swing from my branches and eat apples and play in my shade and be happy.”
“I am too big to climb and play,” said the boy. “I want to buy things and have fun. I want some money. Can you give me money?”
“I’m sorry,” said the tree, “but I have no money. I have only leaves and apples. Take my apples, Boy, and sell them in the city. Then you will have money and then you will be happy.”
And the boy climbed up the tree and gathered her apples and carried them away. And the tree was happy.
But time went by. And the boy graduated from school and went to work... The tree was often alone.
Then one day the boy, now a man, came to the tree, and the tree said "Sorry Boy, I've got no more apples for you to eat and you're too heavy to swing on my branches. Come sit under my shade and talk with me and be happy."
" I am too busy to sit and talk," said the man. "I need to start a business and earn money to support my family. Can you help me support my family."
"I'm sorry," said the tree, "but I don't have any more apples that you can sell. I only left my trunk. Take my trunk and make funitures out of it. Then you can make money and then you will be happy."
And the man took a saw and cut the tree down and carried it away. And the tree/stump was happy.
But time went by. And the man was successful in his business and retired... The tree was often alone.
Then one day the boy, now an old man, came to the tree, and the tree said "Sorry Boy, I've got nothing to give you. You've taken my apples and my trunk, I can't give you anything more."
"I don't need anything," said the old man. "I'm old and I've got everything I wanted - a good family and finances to support it. I just want to find a place to relax and to rest this old feet and body of mine."
"I'm sorry," said the tree, "I've got no more wood that you may make a chair out of. You may sit my stump, though, and find recover those tired feet of yours. Then you will be happy."
And the old man sat on the stump and started weeping. He recalled those days, that he had left the tree alone and those days when he took the apples and its trunk to sell for money and those days when he was happy he forgot about the lonely tree.
He said to the stump, "Thanks for supporting me all my life. when i needed money you were here, when i needed a friend you are here. Thank you so much! I'm sorry that i neglected you from my life."

still sick, but having faith (:

hello! yes i'm still sick, but oh well, at its time when God knows when :) i'll be well. got to practise active faith though (:

today morning stayed in camp and clean the area, afterwhich had briefing in camp. only in the afternoon book out. zZz late for cg, had to postpone the bs and stuff... but oh well..

evening kfc with cg. fun and fruitful, being in connected with each other's life, but didn't get a chance to talk to jonathan and vann though. well i'll just have to call jon and ask how's he now (:

of cuz this is only proposed. can breakdown differently. impt thing is discipline and balance (: also its a good idea to look into MySavings account by POSB bank.. auto transfer money from accounts to accounts, so that dun really have to specially go and transfer, it is being done. one thing about using bank cards, make control easy and drawing hard. (:

sick boy!

i'm still sick! got back the cold again!! can't believe it. horribly suffering now. somebody help me!!! and i'm confined tmr God knows what time i'll book out, but i hope He'd let me attend cell grp, at least. plss....

today i ran 10km! at ECP. great place to run, good wind and good sight ;) now insole of foot pain. after that sat on my friend's Kawa Ninja 636. like aeroplane taking off, i nearly flew off my seat. it was crazy, but fun. i've got to get one of those man! we squeezed thru traffic and stuff. was crazy..

had a good chat with him over dinner. talked about a lot of things. realised his personality also similar to mine (: and found out a lot of stuff. glad to know him as a friend (:

hello! i'm well again! thank God for healing. and thanks wendy for praying! :D



anyway, morning got lots to do again. zZz. did a compass course, and fire drill, all even before some people outside wake up. but there was time to lie on the bed before lunch and think... ...



finances! i need money!! jobs, anything. i wanna get a creative zen stone plus, a nokia army phone, and a army watch. i thought of how i was going to break up the 760 i was getting, and it seems impossible to survive this month! but by faith. it seems a lot, but once you break it down, its not really a lot.. no money le this month someone help me!!!!



running 10km later in the afternoon, ankle still pain but thankfully recovered from yesterday (: let's hope it'll be good. tmr afternoon then book out, company pei confined. tonite hopefully can do something fruitful.. must see if vann is free or notz..

24km route march feels like...

eternity? no, more like this..



yepz, more like a broken leg. one lesson i learnt. mind push, body move. that kept me going during the 24km. was extremely exhausted but still, mind push body move. was super tiring and exhausting and now i still have to walk with a limp due to muscle exhaustion. but was fun, pushing myself to the limit and seeing where my limit is, mental or physical.

things to factor in when considering exhaustion level: distance=24km. walking time=3 3/4 hrs. therefore average speed = 6.4kmh. load =17kg. timing = 9.30pm to 3am. super tired but glad we made it thru, no one fell out during the march (: this is my first time doing such a long distance so quite proud of it (: now at home resting :D zZz catch up on sleep. later meeting wendy :)

today's programmee...

haha, this week another "power-pack fun-filled" week in camp. please do sense the sarcasm. anywayz, here it is



tonight: 24km route march.

tmr: rest from 24 km route march. book out probably. meeting chong yi for dinner, hopefully can meet yuling for lunch? (: haven't ask her yet. she's not awake at this time i guess. no mentally sane person would wake up at this time.

thursday: S3 parade. gonna be quite tiring. but its out of honor and respect i guess so bo bian :)

friday: rest + book out. meeting jonathan for dinner.

saturday: morning meet justin, jonathan for bs, +vann after that for some discussion, +cg and svc. whole day booked.



rmbr, still got to pray 1 hr a day everyday for 21 days. really tiring and busy huh. i guess life of a student has different challenges, but i prefer those then being here. wendy i miss u! ;) oh, and janet, this is for you (:

For Fun II

just another day in camp, running 6km, den 2km route march with jerry can, and rest all the way. oh went to damian house to help him, for 45 minutes only, den damian ask, wha so fast must go le. sorry dude. maybe another day? (:and boy make sure you do your planning ar!fail to plan, plan to fail k?!?!

tmr got 24 km route march. going to press on, using will power and mind-over-matter. have faith that God will protect my body and that my body won't give up on me. learnt something today: mind over body. mind is the king of the body, don't let the body tell the mind what to do, let the mind tell the body what to do (:

Fun Pics, COS

Today is my COS duty day. one entire sunday in the office.

yes, managed to spend time to really sit down and pray in the comforts of the office and knowing no one will disturb, did my one hour of prayer (the 1 hour/day for 21 days prayer movement by my church), but still got more time to spend.

emailed justin, did up minutes from the connect group meeting and slept til i can't sleep, redid my blog and still got lots of time to spend.

did my bible reading, made a new template (HTML) for cg blog and still got lots of time to spend.

cheered up wendy, voices in my head worship God, can't sleep. so this is what i decided to do.
