crazy 4 days.
friday. company cohesion.
we had our ORD cohesion cum initiation in camp. the mess. morning i took off for a specific reason. haha cannot say online, wan to know must ask me, but its nothing much. went to buy stuff for the party that nite.
before book into camp, went to service my bike. actually just planned to change engine oil, but in the end found out my rear tyre was punctured with 2 nails. NO wonder i felt my bike keep having no power even after i pump the tyre. = i have been riding with flat tire. hmm.. anyway, now new tyres =) and also, i need to change my front tyre, cuz cracking le. but because of changing tyre, really blew a hole in my pocket. oh well, life ain't that predictable. anyway, book in late because of this.
went into camp. waited for cohesion to start. help out to prep the cohesion place "party". anyway, i tried not to drink on that nite, but was compelled to cuz have to give my ORD speech. hahaha. and give a toast to the company. was suppose to ride that nite, but in the end stayed in camp cuz i drank. suppose to watch high school musical 3 with army friends too but in the end postpone to sunday. stayed in camp and sleepp..
saturday. NUS briefing. help decorations. service. fellowship =)
ok i woke up in camp. a lazy morning. woke at 8am. hang around in camp. had biscuit for breakfast. watched dear boys with BAY.
9 30am. went to NUS briefing for the early admission thing. i thot it will last quite long but ended up only about half hour. ok basically i have got 3 options. 1. take 1 sem during the early admission period, and graduate earlier. 2. take 1-2 modules during the early admission period. this is the so-called "honeymoon season". not as hectic as the 1st option, but graduate same time as the rest. 3. dun participate in this early admission programme and admit into uni same time as the rest. i would wanna go for this if i'm going for SOT. i've stil got to pray about this.
after NUS briefing went home to have lunch. wash up. go vann's house to help with the deco with pei en. reach about 3pm. helped until about 4pm. thanks for the grapes =)
attended service. regarding living our lives not for the pastor, but for God, living in truth. not just saying that supporting pastor all the way, but rather going out and living my life in truth =)
after service went changi to fellowship. cuz kenneth parents coming back to singapore from trip. so we just pei him =) very fun. but wan fellowship not just on weekends, but really hope can go out even on weekdays. hang out. after that went home, fell asleep at 1 am.
forgot why i slept so late hehe. i shouldn't waste my time online. i think i should stay away from the internet. i see that i'm wasting a lot of time online doing nothing..
sunday. high school musical 3. YOUTHEM. job interview. farewell to company. prata @ simpang bedok.
haha morning woke up late.. zZz. went watch high school musical 3 with 2 other friends. army guys. haha. was funny, cool, romantic. =) reminds me of the time i graduate from SAJC. hmm.. where should i go what should i do? what will i be? those are the questions of a high school graduate. =D
after that chiong down for youthem! haha rapping competition. i didn't win anything, but had fun! video, pic! =D hahaha. laugh it out. =) had loads of fun. haha my first time taking centerstage. forgot the lyrics cuz stage fright. but even through that everything was all right. =D
p.s. when blogger ask me not to post obsure material i wasn't sure if i should upload this. jk.
the word was of the same theme as be4. unleashing your potential. inspiration motivates body to work beyond its capability. that's the power of the spirit, being able to push through all the dimensions of the body to make it work in synergy. v power. =) but i really got to stay close to the Holy Spirit. He'll be my source of inspirations and wisdom. =D
after youthem went for a short dinner with cell grp, den went to job interview @ old MDIS building. after entering the place, i just felt that it wasn't for me. magnetic cushions and all. nah i dun wan to get my hands in these kind of products. not that they're not good, disclaimer, but i just dun believe in them. and i won't sell anything that i didn't have faith in. after wasting about 1 hr there waiting for the interviewer to come and listening to him explaining the job to me, i kindly rejected it.
after that went home to rest for a while, den went to changi airport to send my company off to taiwan. only the new batch of people and the ORDing personnel stay back in singapore, the rest flew off. haha gonna turn the whole place upside down man!! =)
after sending them to taiwan, we decided to go simpang bedok, the ORDing personnel. had really lousy chocolate banana prata but v good prata BOMM! haha. but very ex. had a good time talking to them hehe. =) went home at about 3 plus. bath brush teeth sleep.
as you can see. late nites. eyebags! got to catch up with sleep. haha but there are more important things than sleeping =) praying, reading bible and fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit.
monday. prep for love wendy love. love wendy love.
morning woke up at 11 with wendy's sms. den went back to sleep and woke up again to go pick wendy up at her aunt's house. sent her and all her stuff over to pandan valley function room to put it down. went orchard to pick up deco stuff and meet janet.
went dabao bk for lunch THANKS wendy for the treat =) we picked the two foil heart shape balloon. @ centerpoint. 6 dollars each whoa. haha. den went to PS. wendy had to do her makeup and we had to pick up stuff from carrefour and secret recipe. met up with debbie too! and went down by cab to pandan valley function room.
while setting up the place suddenly wendy's extended family came. den more come. and more come. haha. many peepz to help with the deco yay! =D wendy's birthday started with MAKAN! manna pot =D den zoe performed! and den the D Dolls performed! den singing birthday song and its over. i guess it wasn't the programme that made it great. it was the people. so fun to hang around with and meet friends. =)) wendy appreciated the D dolls, as well as MARIA the photographer of the day. wonderful shots! and EVANGELYN the mei nu with the best dressed award! =)
stayed all the way, dance and sang with the kids, played with them, and help to clean up. reach home at 11 pm. ended earlier than expected, but oh well, tmr they got school so can't stay too late too. returned the keys and went home. went online a while. slept at 1am. see wasted time online looking at facebook and talking to people. had to sleep on the floor in the hall cuz i scared i wake up late. today had to wake up at 7am to go driving lesson. placed blanket and pillow and bolster on the floor. sleep.
today. not so crazy. car lesson.
woke up at 7am. slept. woke up at 7 30. prep chiong down for car lesson. FTL 1.02. BBDC. after that had lunch and waited for practical lesson to start. car is easier than i thot. just left turns mine a bit wide. quite easy huh. haha. fun fun. me the next alonso! =) muahaha. anyway, instructor is only 23 yrs old! even got facebook. can't wait for him to add me on his facebook haha. cool huh. =D
after that came home already 3 30pm. went online until 4 den slept until 6. didn't wanna wake up for dinner but daddy was persistant so ok lor. now i'm awake and blogging because of him. =) else i'll still be sleeping. had good sleep cuz i prayed before i sleep. =) really concussed. eat finish check facebook and bloggg.. haha.
anyway, really awesome to talk to pei en last nite @ love wendy love ;) she shared with me about how it was her dream to fellowship with the leaders and really was happy that she had that opportunity to do so =)) so happy for her. =D
FOR those having PP and tests and exams, jiayou! rmbr, consistancy and diligent-cy pays! consistant enables less effort, but have got to be diligent over a period of time. be patient yet urgent about your studies k? you've come this far, dun waste the effort you've put in the past. usually its the small decisions that makes the biggest effects. decide how you wanna use your time and how you wanna approach your studies. be faithful in the little. cuz its the little things that counts. =) all the way! =)

He is Waiting in the Midst of the Storm(The Applause of Heaven)

Peter knows he is in trouble.
The winds roar down onto the Sea of Galilee like a hawk on a rat.
Lightning zigzags across the black sky.
The clouds vibrate with thunder.
The rain taps, then pops, then slaps against the deck of the boat until everyone aboard is soaked and shaking.
Ten-foot waves pick them up and slam them down again with bonejarring force.
These drenched men don't look like a team of apostles who are only a decade away from changing the world. And you can be sure of one thing. The one with the widest eyes is the one with the biggest biceps--Peter. He's seen these storms before. He's seen the wreckage and bloated bodies float to shore. He knows what the fury of wind and wave can do. And he knows that times like this are not times to make a name for yourself; they're times to get some help.
That is why, when he sees Jesus walking on the water toward the boat, he is the first to say, "Lord, if it's you ... tell me to come to you on the water." (Matthew 14:28)
He is aware of two facts: He's going down, and Jesus is staying up. And it doesn't take him too long to decide where he would rather be.
Perhaps a better interpretation of his request would be, "Jeeeeeeeesus. If that is you, then get me out of here!"
"Come on" is the invitation.
And Peter doesn't have to be told twice. It's not every day that you walk on water through waves that are taller than you are. But when faced with the alternative of sure death or possible life, Peter knows which one he wants.
The first few steps go well. But a few strides out onto the water, and he forgets to look to the One who got him there in the first place, and down he plunges.
Peter's response may lack class (it probably wouldn't get him on the cover of Gentleman's Quarterly or even Sports Illustrated) but it gets him out of some deep water:
"Help me!"
And since Peter would rather swallow pride than water, a hand comes through the rain and pulls him up.
The message is clear.
As long as Jesus is one of many options, he is no option.
As long as you can carry your burdens alone, you don't need a burden bearer.
As long as your situation brings you no grief, you will receive no comfort.
And as long as you can take him or leave him, you might as well leave him, because he won't be taken half-heartedly.
But when you mourn, when you get to the point of sorrow for your sins, when you admit that you have no other option but to cast all your cares on him, and when there is truly no other name that you can call, then cast all your cares on him, for he is waiting in the midst of the storm.
Lets really go to Jesus whole-heartedly and not just casually or conveniently. =)

presents. =)
hie. i just receive a gift from yuling =) love it man! thanks lingz.guess why? cuz she's in aussie when she sent me the shirt.
it wasn't the shirt that made me happy. it was her =) her actions showed that she had thought of me even when she's in aussie and bother to go through the inconvenience to send me the shirt =)
and i began to think.. what are some things that i would like. cuz i tend to look past the gifts, to the person =)
1. sacrifice - doing things out of sacrifice of time, money etc.
2. thought - surprise gifts =) shows that you think of that person even on a normal day. don't have to be a special occasion to give gifts =)
3. being there even through the tough times =)
that's why i love to give people surprise gifts =) cuz i feel that, don't need to wait til birthday or christmas to show others your love. why not today? =)
